SALES ASSOCIATE   

We're looking for an enthusiastic individual who loves diving and wants to work in a fun, dynamic environment.  This is a part-time position which has potential for growth.

Duties Include (but not limited to):

• Ensure customer service standards are met.
• Resolve complex issues.
• Provide customer satisfaction and implement on the spot remedies.
• Assist with merchandising functions.
• Assist with inventory control, including verification of shipments.
• Ensure security and maintenance of store.
• Fill cylinders and conduct inspections (following company-sponsored training).
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and practices.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be a Certified Scuba Diver.
  
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as dictated by retail needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Team player, able to work with diverse group of customers and vendors.
• Overall understanding of personal computer operation including MS Office. 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work on his/her feet 90-100% of the time. 
• Ability to access all areas of the store and storage, e.g., climb ladders, bend, squat, etc. 
• Ability to lift 40lbs.
• Ability to speak, read & write English, also count and do basic arithmetic.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

• Previous retail experience a plus.
• Strong interest in scuba diving for product and activity knowledge.
• Strong visual and conceptual merchandising skills.
• Dive Instructor highly desirable.
